<description>I really enjoyed this post and your perspective on the reality of the current job market for MBAs. I think that &quot;embrace the suck&quot; can be adapted to many business situations.

I graduated with my BBA in the middle of a recession in 1991 and I went through an 18 month job search during the buildup and beginning of the Iraq war.

Staying positive was hard but it can be done. The one thing a prolong job search does is make you appreciate the job you eventually get.

Good luck in your search.</description>

<description>I love the way you shifted your perspective allowing you to continue positively. That is so important.

Stay focused on finishing your program strong. The right opportunity will be yours.

<description>It&#039;s tough to stay optimistic in today&#039;s job market, but you have a great perspective. Keep writing and good luck with your many interviews.

<description>Jared, I appreciate this very raw post... interesting that you and your classmates are having these issues. I do believe in what you say at the end, that in the end it will turn out all right, but it sure is hard to get to that end.

Keep plugging away, and try and figure out what other income streams you can create during the journey, those income streams might prove invaluable for the rest of your career!

(and thanks for the plug to my post on networking)
