Do babies plus water equal desre?

Richard Oliver, one of the foremost behavioral psychologists in the area of consumer satisfaction loyalty, once related that there are six fail-safe elements to engender positive emotions in ads: SEX, SUN, PEOPLE HAVING FUN, WATER, PUPPIES & BABIES

That’s why when an agency friend of mine posted this Evian ad to Facebook, I immediately took interest and decided to test that theory.

It has babies, they’re having fun and their selling water. According to Rich, this should be hole in one.

Yeah…not so much.

I understand the message, it’s definitely a cute ad and it made me want to write about it but what do you think? Does this ad make you want to go out and buy a bottle of Evian?
